When I was little, I told my mom that I hoped that people would remember me as someone who made their lives a little brighter and their loads a little lighter.  This lifelong passion of mine to positively contribute to the lives of those around me has woven a rich tapestry of experiences from training as a professional ballerina to living and volunteering in Benin, Africa to becoming a training & implementation manager at lululemon athletica.

Two years ago, a personal experience brought me face-to-face with the ways in which the experiences of pregnancy and birth stay with us forever.  Once that profound awe for birth was sparked in me, my insatiable appetite for learning led me to dive deeper into this birth work.  Driven by a commitment to empower clients to make informed choices about their care and birth, I have completed the DONA Birth Doula Training & MORE WISE: Continuing Education for Doulas, am completing the certificate for the Douglas College Breastfeeding Course for Healthcare Providers, the Cultured Doula Program, Human Anatomy & Physiology courses, and can often be found in my kitchen listening to podcasts about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum – some favourites include: Birth Kweens, The Birth Hour, & The Birthful Podcast!
